Advertising agency Leo Burnett designed this clever burger-battery hybrid logo to promote McDonald’s phone-charging stations.
The logo itself is designed to look like the battery that is seen at the top right hand corner of every smart device, from cell phones to iPads. However, instead of using lines to determine how full the device’s battery is, the lines in this logo resemble the layers of a hamburger. The battery has two light brown bars at the top and bottom of the upright battery to represent buns. Inside the buns, there is a red tomato line, a yellow cheese line and a brown patty line.
This clever hybrid logo is easy to understand within today’s technologically advanced society. The logo is aesthetically pleasing and it is a clever way to promote McDonald's new phone-charging stations.
