PHAROS AR is an augmented reality app that lets Android users to step into Childish Gambino’s personal universe, enjoy music and even share the experience with others. The free app invites users to "enter the portal," explore an imaginative augmented reality world and activate hidden glyphs. From there, app users are able to embark on a journey through multiple worlds within an open space.

While the augmented reality experience can certainly be had on one's own, the PHAROS AR app is built on Google’s ARCore, which makes interactions with other players possible. Although the app is more about a visual and audio experience than gaming, PHAROS AR offers a creative way for people to rediscover familiar surroundings through music.
