Welltory has been introduced as a pocketed personal health coach that utilizes algorithms and machine learning to promote a more accessible approach to emotional and mental health care.
The app-enabled program will assess the state of the users' “autonomic nervous system -- the body’s stress and recovery regulation center" by reading one's heartbeat. The idea is that by process of elimination, users will be able to visualize what does and doesn't work for their bodies. If after morning meditation their stress readings are reduced, they will know to continue with that act. Whereas if a new diet plan has no impact on stress readings, users can discard that attempt and try something new.
