Digital weight management company Noom has announced the launch of its first behavioral health app, 'Noom Mood.' The new platform was designed specially to help users manage anxiety and general stress, as well as assist them with developing other healthy habits.
When feeling stressed or anxious, 'Noom Mood' users will be provided the ability to jump into daily 10-minute classes based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance Commitment Theory (ACT). Moreover, the app will offer access to a variety of mindfulness meditation techniques and tools. It will also offer human guidance and coaching where necessary.
Overall, the app offers tools for immediate relief from stress and anxiety-related symptoms, while also providing a useful long-term mood tracker.
