UNICEF is Marking Its 75th Anniversary with Patchwork Kingdoms NFTs

Patchwork Kingdoms, the UN's largest-ever NFT collection is launching to mark the 75th anniversary of UNICEF and the sales of these digital assets will help to raise funds to connect a million schools to the internet. The Patchwork Kingdoms NFTs, based on Ethereum, take the form of 1,000 unique works of data-driven art.

For this project, UNICEF teamed up with Snowcrash Labs and data visualization scientist and artist Nadieh Bremer. The artworks draw data from over 280,000 schools from 21 countries, and digital asset represents a subset of those schools.

The sales of these NFTs will help to support the UNICEF Global Office of Innovation initiatives, including Giga, which will provide internet access to children and schools in need around the world.
