'FriendsWithYou,' the Los Angeles-based art collaborative, has announced an upcoming collection of NFTs titled 'fRiENDSiES.' These NFTs will be presented by the Christie's auction house, and sold through the 'OpenSea' NFT platform. These NFTs will not be sold in the traditional sense, though. Instead, Christie's and FriendsWithYou are first auctioning the opportunity for customers to collaborate directly with the NFT creators on the design and build of the digital collectibles.
There will be nine one-of-a-kind NFT collections created in collaboration with the buyers. Each buyer will have a 12-hour window to design and mint their fRiENDSiE NFT. In order to gain access to this NFT-creator, the buyers will be given the opportunity to buy a mint pass, which provides exclusive early access to the NFT builder before the public can access it. Each of the nine designs will be turned into a physical bronze sculpture and sent to the original buyer and creator.
