Autonomous Air Passenger Trials

Cora Collaborated with Other to Run Trials in New Zealand

Cora, the autonomous air taxi company, is scheduled to conduct passenger trials in New Zealand. The passenger trials are the result of collaborative efforts between Cora, Boeing, as well as Kitty Hawk. The trials were approved through a singed memorandum by the government of New Zealand, and the trials will take place in Canterbury. However, no exact start date has been announced.

The trail will be run through the Airspace Integration Trial program, which is being overseen by New Zealand's Ministry of Business, Innovation, and Employment, which will work with the Civil Aviation Authority and the Ministry of Transport.

If successful, the trails could be a big step forward not just for the organizations involved, but for the industry as a whole.
