In an effort to both respond and to comment on the relationships that humans have with various aspects of their lives, Robert and Shana ParkeHarrison evoke tragedy in their depictions to send a message. The latest work by the artistic pair send eerie signals that there's something definitely wrong with the relationship between humans and nature at this moment in time.

Speaking in an all encompassing way about their work, Robert and Shana ParkeHarrison explain, "We create works in response to the ever-bleakening relationship linking humans, technology, and nature. These works feature an ambiguous narrative that offers insight into the dilemma posed by science and technology’s failed promise to fix our problems, provide explanations, and furnish certainty pertaining to the human condition."

Perhaps there's something more to learn from these shots than what meets the eye; is it simply the depiction of a relationship or something more?
