Taking the classic origami art a few steps further, Matt Shilian combined art with science to create these featured works.

Inspired by the cutting of different shapes and object to the design of a virus, Matt Shilian was definitely elaborate while detailing these different pieces. Shilian used various computer programs to get the format of his works and his intricate end products are worthy of a museum exhibit.

Implications - The featured video shows Shilian creating his unique pieces and explaining what he does for a living. He calls himself a "papercraft engineer," and is definitely great at what he does. He claims that many of his works are actually made by mistakes. Shilian says that mistakes make the end result much more interesting.
