Freestanding Pantry Cupboards

Inglis Hall Pantry Cupboards Combine Oak Joinery with Storage

The pantry cupboards by Inglis Hall are freestanding kitchen storage pieces designed as furniture rather than built-in cabinetry. British maker Inglis Hall constructs each cupboard using solid oak, with hand-worked joinery and a focus on proportion and placement within the room. The designs include full-height doors that open to reveal oak-lined interiors, shelving, and drawers arranged for dry goods, tableware, and kitchen tools.

Externally, the cupboards use a restrained material palette, pairing band-sawn oak frames with matte surfaces such as Fenix panels or painted finishes. Inside, the oak grain is left visible and runs continuously across compartments, with integrated drawers and shelving built into the structure. The units are designed to stand independently rather than fill an entire wall, allowing space around them and enabling flexible positioning within a kitchen layout.
