Belt-Strapped Shoes

Engineered Garments x SUICOKE Strap Wingtip Replace Laces with Belt Closure

The Strap Wingtip Shoes by Engineered Garments and SUICOKE reinterpret a classic wingtip silhouette through a slip-on construction. New York-based label Engineered Garments applies its tailored, workwear-influenced design language, while Japanese footwear brand SUICOKE builds the shoe using its comfort-focused sole units. Instead of traditional laces, the upper is secured with an adjustable belt strap that wraps across the vamp, allowing for quick entry and a customizable fit.

The design keeps core wingtip detailing, including perforations and paneling, while shifting the structure toward everyday wear. The sole unit follows SUICOKE’s signature construction, emphasizing cushioning and grip underfoot. The silhouette merges formal shoe elements with utilitarian features, resulting in a hybrid profile that sits between dress footwear and casual slip-ons. The collaboration is scheduled to release on March 27 through Nepenthes, with pricing set at approximately ¥49,500 JPY.
