Hybrid Ballerina Sneakers

Balenciaga Radar Sneaker Fuse Track-Shoe Engineering with a Ballet Model

The Balenciaga Radar Sneaker is a new footwear model released under the creative direction of Pierpaolo Piccioli. The design introduces a streamlined silhouette that departs from the brand’s oversized “dad shoe” style. The shoe combines the structure of a technical running sneaker with the slim proportions of a ballet flat. A second variant called the Radar Ballerina presents an even lower profile while maintaining the same performance-inspired construction.

The upper uses layered breathable mesh with faux-leather structural overlays that form a close-fitting frame around the foot. A double lacing system wraps across the upper to secure the shoe while visually extending along the sides. Branding includes a debossed 3B Sport logo on the toe box and Balenciaga’s exposed shoe size on the heel. The outsole features curled grip detailing designed to improve traction while maintaining a lightweight construction.
