The Larder Cupboard by Inglis Hall Adapts a Workshop Storage Piece

The Larder cupboard by Inglis Hall originated as a practical storage solution used within the company’s own workshop before being selected by designer Jay Osgerby for his personal kitchen. Following that discovery, the cabinet was introduced as a made-to-order product that translates a functional workshop fixture into a freestanding furniture piece.

Standing more than two metres tall, the design is constructed from solid wood and is available in oak, larch, or walnut. Its restrained exterior emphasizes clean proportions and a monolithic presence suited to both contemporary and traditional interiors.

The cabinet measures 1100 by 2131 by 456 millimetres and is designed to maximize storage while maintaining a compact footprint. Full-height doors open 180 degrees, transforming the enclosed volume into an expansive display and organization system.
