Colorful Beer Branding

This Pantone Packaging Pairs Brew Types With Specific Color Shades

This creative agency used Pantone packaging to make a non-specified beer brand stand out. Spanish firm Txaber created a design for beer bottles and cans that corresponds each type of beer with a color. By looking at the Pantone shade of the brew in question, the drinker can tell if the contents are a dark stout or pale ale. For example, the lager is 123C while the stout is 4975C.

The Pantone packaging applies to both beer bottles and cans, with nine shades in each. Whether a pilsner, wheat beer or a porter is to your taste, there is a Pantone-inspired brew for you.

The beer colors bring an artistic element to beer branding, which isn't typically a focus. This design does not appear to be for a specific brand, however.
