Copenhagen’s Oversized Garbage Can Reminds Citizens to Clean

On a mission to make Copenhagen the cleanest European city, household brand Vipp created an oversized garbage can that weighs almost a ton: the sleekly designed Vipp mega bin. The Vipp bin will tour Copenhagen city to remind citizens to keep clean and green.

The emerald green trash bin is 2.5 meters in height and 2 meters wide. It is designed to be eight times the size of a regular garbage can. Made of bent steel and milled rubber, the Vipp bin is equipped with a giant hinge and a supersized foot pedal.

The over-sized Vipp mega bin is outstanding in its vibrant color and ridiculous size and can be spotted from miles away. The environmental movement is also a great way to spread Vipp’s name across the city.
