Equipped with an 8K organic sensor, the Panasonic AK-SHB810 is designed to offer a "wide dynamic range" and eliminate rolling shutter. The use of an 8K organic sensor allows the camera to perform at a much higher level when compared to CMOS cameras by providing greater dynamic range and a shutter that is higher than 120th of a second.
The organic sensor on the Panasonic AK-SHB810 draws its capabilities from its dual-layer design. Comprised of an organic photoconductive film and separate circuit, the AK-SHB810 is able to incorporate high-speed noise cancellation in the circuit, while increasing light-gathering powers in the light-sensing layer.
The camera is set to release in the fall of 2019 at an unknown price.
