As Trader Joe's explains, Nocellara Olives are wildly popular in Italy, but not well known in the US. To help consumers discover the snackable olives, the brand has debuted its own jar of Organic Italian Nocellara Olives. The Trader Joe's version consists of firm, yet buttery Nocellara Olives doused in organic sunflower oil. The olives are then blended with organic herbs like parsley, oregano, basil, thyme, and rosemary for a mild, slightly fruity flavor. As for serving, Trader Joe's notes that the olives "are yummy eaten alone, and they make an easy and impressive accompaniment to our Mozzarella Rolloni or Charcuterie Pinwheel Tray."
