If you like to drink orange pop but wish you had a healthier alternative for the sugar-filled drink, why not try making this homemade version put together by food blog Food 52. This DIY recipe cuts down a significant amount of the sugar without compromising delicious citrus taste.

To make this homemade orange soda begin by juicing four oranges and one lime. Add the juice to a put along with a cup of sugar and the zest of each of the fruits. Boil the mixture and strain the pulp and zest out using a mesh strainer. Place the liquid in a fridge to cool. Once cold, you can add the orange drink to a glass filled with ice cubes and lemon-flavored seltzer water and enjoy.
