Google Has Released an Animated Doodle and Olympic-Themed Mini Games

In honor of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, Google has released animated Olympic doodles on its home page.

The Olympic doodles are an animated short about fruit competing in various sports to try and win. Google didn't stop at just the home page animation, the search engine also created fun Olympic-themed mini games called the 2016 Doodle Fruit Games. The games include racing as the strawberry, swimming as the lemon and playing tennis as the pineapple. The Google app will feature a new game each day of the Olympic Games, and is available on Android and iOS.

Google is also showcasing the schedule for the Olympic Games at the top of search results for any relevant search terms, so fans can easily stay informed about when certain sports are taking place and the results.
