Few designers would tell you that designing a chair is easy, but if you're looking to impress with aesthetics, the job is much more manageable. Now, the Offecct Cape Chair certainly looks like a very comfortable seat, so it's quite the bonus to find that its appearance is so pleasing to the eyes as well.

The Nendo creation comprises a fine steel frame for the legs of the furnishing and a pair of wooden panels that have been beautifully, yet subtly, sculpted. In the natural timber model, the wood grain texture is obvious, allowing you to appreciate the lovely contours created for the comfort of the sitter. Behind the Offecct Cape Chair's backrest, this curved piece is one part supportive and the other part fancy. Its flaring bottom is an endearing detail that sets this seat apart from others.
