Research-Backed Swooped Work Chairs

Haworth Refines Research to Create the Breck Chair

Haworth, a global furniture imprint has garnered research to collect about 5.5 billion data points in the space of ergonomic analysis to create the Breck Chair. The simple furniture has a minimal silhouette with a swooped back curve with comfort provided by the plush cushioned chair. The Breck is playful yet intuitive with a range of colorway options to choose from.

It is made with patented technology through Geo Stretch, a structural component that has a flexible stretch seat back. The International Design Studio Manager at Haworth, Nicolai Czumaj-Bront notes to Design Milk, “Simplification was a big part of this chair and that was an interesting challenge because task chairs are inherently complex. Breck components have been thoughtfully combined with performance that is easy to understand.”
