Orange County, California-based HomeAid will be selling off the Net Zero Ocean Adventure Lab playhouse to raise funds to build and maintain housing for homeless families and individuals so that they can rebuild their lives. Labor and resources are all donated to the Playhouse Project.
The Ocean Adventure Lab is a kid-sized replica of an actual oceanographer’s lab. The net zero space includes a working wave tank, microscope, an honorary certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, and even a Play Station 2.
