Nvidia showcased its Nvidia Tegra K1 computer chip at CES 2014 and demonstrated the latest innovations in gaming technology. The Tegra K1 was demonstrated powering the Unreal Engine 4, running hyper-realistic human anatomical CGI as well as several live, fully rendered gaming environments. The Nvidia Tegra K1 computer chip works with the Unreal Engine 4 to create realistic material, reflections and lighting.
The computer chip will be available in two forms. The first is the quad-core 32-bit CPU (up to 2.3 GHz), and the second is the 64-bit Super Core CPU, which will run up to 2.5 GHz. The 64-bit Super Core CPU will help fast-track 64-bit mobile computing in Android devices. The Nvidia Tegra K1 will revolutionize the gaming industry and throw it headlong into the 21st century.
