It's brilliant that industrial designers are really sinking their teeth into new solutions for urban and suburban transportation. The nThree Trike is an ingenious suggestion that strives to solve the problems of emissions, road congestion and more.

Marin Myftiu and Hussain Almossawi began by making the electric vehicle streamlined to a single-seater, since many motorists commute solo. Thoughtful engineering of the Y-shaped chassis has rendered this concept car about 100kg in weight -- up to five times lighter than others in its class. Inspired by the beak of the toucan bird, the nThree Trike has a hard shell surrounding the front and the sides of the automobile for the driver's protection. An ergonomic seat and a convertible tinted windshield complete the eco-friendly car's efficient features.
