The NONdesigns Lexus shines because of its multiple colors and brilliant design. The automobile company Lexus gave the task to NONdesigns to build a sculpture that would visually represent the main characteristics of the CT 200h vehicle.
The studio based its concept on the idea that a hybrid vehicle is a combination of various aspects. The designers explain the campaign, "NONdesigns created a pixilated interpretation of the compact premium hybrid that treats viewers to the two personalities of the vehicle." For these reasons, the piece consists of an installation that shows, with a change of colors, the various components of the Lexus's fifth hybrid. The gold color illustrates the luxury of the car, and the green and blue colors its ecological function. As viewers walk around the Lexus, they experience the alteration of colors.
The NONdesign Lexus artistic campaign will be exhibited in events in the United States.
