This Nokia Luna Net concept has been designed by Johannes Rieder as a moon communication system that would work to provide connectivity for explorers on the lunar surface.
The system is imagined in collaboration with NASA and consists of a main unit with a landing system and a series of three smaller nodes. These components would work together to get the equipment to the moon, land on the surface and be seamlessly set up for use, while thermogenerators deliver power to operate in the harsh environment.
The Nokia Luna Net concept takes an impressive approach to enhancing lunar communication and would work to speed up colonizers' ability to relay contact back to the Earth without extended delays.
