These incredible Nike swoosh portraits of a trio of big-name Nike stars were amazingly created out of nothing but the iconic Nike swoosh logo. German artist and illustrator Andy Gellenberg put together these fantastic portraits -- depicting basketball star LeBron James, golf legend Tiger Woods and skateboarding superstar Paul Rodriguez -- using nothing but Nike swoosh shapes.
Gellenberg harnessed all of his creativity in addition to a spectacular level of attention to detail to forge the portraits, skillfully using color and smartly positioning and angling Nike swooshes to make surprisingly accurate reproductions of the athletes' faces.
This portrait is only the latest in a series of sports-centered illustrations created by Gellenberg. While Gellenberg is an independent and freelance artist, Nike might be wishing he worked for them.
