Nike's Air Max Pegasus 89 G Gets a Phoenix Open Colorway

Nike introduces a new iteration of the Air Max Pegasus 89 G sneaker model in a Phoenix Open colorway palette to celebrate the gold event. Due to the bold nature, the color palette was designed to reflect that with an upcycled build that highlights the frayed Swoosh logo on the side.

This is made with silver foil for a reflective and bright look paired with an upper that is made to replicate the appearance of crumpled plastic. This is a direct nod to the brand's mission to reduce waste as a whole. The base of the shoe is made with a wide range of colors with a clear plastic-like material. There is a slogan on the insoles and tongue that reads "Take Out the Trash."
