The Nicolai Howalt 'Car Crash' series gives crashed automobiles an artistic spin. Having worked with destroyed autos before, artist Nicolai Howalt zooms in on bumps, dents and scratches within this spread and creates an abstract and unrecognizable perspective on broken-down cars.

Featuring dented shadows and shiny contrasts, these pieces almost look like digital works as opposed to photographs, making it difficult for the audience to decipher these images.
