Dole Partnered with Artist David Datuna on an NFT Series

The Dole Sunshine Company teamed up with artist David Datuna to create an NFT series inspired by its vision of Sunshine for All. The collection recalls Datuna's consumption of a banana at Art Basel Miami Beach in 2019, which led him to be called The Hungry Artist.

The five-part NFT series focuses on the connection between nutrition and food security and the works feature Datuna's signature lens technique. Together, the art series represents "people coming together to take a bite out of hunger" and it will go up for display at a virtual gallery.

The collaborative NFT series will soon be available on Rarible and the auction will help to bring awareness to food insecurity and malnutrition worldwide. Funds raised through the auction of the digital assets will support Boys & Girls Clubs.
