The 'Meet the New $100 Bill' graphic picks apart changes to the American currency and the many security features that are covertly packed into it.
Although it seems fairly ordinary in appearance, the American bill is loaded with features that are designed to make the production of counterfeit money more difficult. This includes features like raised printing, which adds a unique texture that is difficult to replicate and a series of images that will subtly shift color when they are slightly moved.
While most of these new security features are initially visible, one of the most well-hidden anti-counterfeit features of the new $100 bill is the faint Ben Franklin watermark, that only appears when it is held up to a light.
