Ukraine-Supporting Fashion Labels

Nanushka Announces Plans to Support the Ukraine During FW22 Show

Hungarian fashion label Nanushka has unveiled its Fall/Winter 2022 collection, an expansive ensemble that taps into the theme of "synchronized technology." In addition, during the debut show for the new collection, the brand announced that it will be supporting Ukraine during its ongoing crisis with Russia via a partnership with the Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta.

Nanushaka's creative director presented the new collection virtually for Paris Fashion Week, nicknaming the capsule "Industrial Craft, in reference to its emphasis on Eastern- European-inspired workwear designs. As a whole, the collection delivers a wide range of garments such as trench coats, knitwear, denim jeans, hemmed trousers, and single-breasted jackets, all of which arrive in muted colors.

During the presentation, Sandor took the opportunity to speak about the conflict happening in her neighboring country, encouraging other brands to help support Ukraine. "We encourage others from our industry to seek out ways to support the crisis, from personal and corporate donations to using their own channels to present information that can be shared widely,” said Sandor.
