Ukraine-Supporting NFT Collections

Dori Desautel Broudy is Auctioning her First NFTs on OpenSea

Dori Desautel Broudy, a Philadelphia-based artist famous for her mission-driven artwork, has announced her first foray into the Web3 space with an exclusive NFT collection. The collection includes 17 unique artworks that are inspired by Ukraine. Many pieces use the blue and yellow colors of the Ukrainian flag to demonstrate support for the situation. With this collection, Broudy hopes to spread the messages of peace, love, and unity. To show her commitment to the cause, Broudy is donating 100% of the proceeds gained from these NFTs to the Ukrainian effort.

Broudy has a connection to the situation in Ukraine as her childhood friend, Samantha Smith, served as the youngest ambassador of peace during the Cold War in the 1980s. In order to honor her friend, the NFT collection is named 'For Sam.' Broudy chose the NFT space for these artworks as opposed to physical art as she believes the Metaverse holds great potential for "the future of art collecting."
