Minimalist Curvilinear Cafes

Nana’s Green Tea by Kamitopen Design Embodies Tranquility

Nana’s Green Tea by Kamitopen Design is a tea cafe that epitomizes the concept of tranquility. The Japanese tea house chain blends the age-old tradition of drinking tea with contemporary design aesthetic.

The beverage retailer is known for offering their visitors modern tea treats, priding themselves on their creamy tea and powdered milk lattes. Located in the Ario shopping centre in Okayama Prefecture, this fluid interior features organic and flowing structural elements. From faded blue forms to grassy sculptural elements, this curvilinear interior captures calmness and relaxation.

Inspired by Okayama’s Korakuen Garden, designer Masahiro Yoshida and his Kamitopen Design team focused on curved details mimicking a mountainous landscape and vibrant colors painted to resemble a clear blue sky.
