Sustainable fashion retailer PANGAIA recently partnered with eco-activist Nadya Hutagalung and Candian artist Raku Inoue to launch the limited-edition Protect the Species Collection. As the name suggests, the company will donate 100 percent of the proceeds to the Barumum Nagari Wildlife Sanctuary - an organization that houses mistreated elephants in Indonesia - and Sumatran Orangutan Conservation Programm -- a project that supports new self-sustaining wild populations of great apes.
The Protect the Species Collection features artistically drawn images of various endangered animals including elephants, orangutans, tigers, pandas, and Rhinoceros. The collection is made on sustainable fabric and is shipped using biodegradable packaging that will fully decompose within 24 hours in a compost bin. The PANGAIA x Nadya Hutagalung collection can be purchased at thepangaia.com for $85 USD.
