The #MWEBTweetSeat is part of an ongoing MBWEB project that shows how social media and access to WiFi is changing the way we connect with physical objects and spaces.
The couch is set up with a variety of expressive pillows and if one of them happens to share the emotions you're feeling, you can toss it up in the air to send out a pre-programmed tweet. This is ideal for something like the World Cup, since it allows you to stay connected without having to take your eyes off of a TV screen for a second. The couch also has a "cruise control" mode, which can be activated by jumping up and down on the couch to announce something exciting like a team win. Although it's perfect for watching any sporting event, there's tons of potential for the couch and its pillows to be programmed for other TV shows too.
The fun #MWEBTweetSeat was developed by the Society social media agency and produced by ThingKing.
