Muji, the popular Japanese retailer, is taking minimalism to the next level with its new Sofa Made from Air.
Just as the name suggests, the Sofa Made from Air, called 'Kuuki de Dekita Sofa' in Japanese, is a one-seat chair that's filled with nothing but air. More specifically, the chair consists of five air tanks fitted with a soft fabric covering on top. So all you need to do is pump the soft up to your desired plumpness with the supplied pump and you're ready to relax. While the chair is easy to adjust for your desired comfort level, the other benefit is that it's incredibly lightweight, making it easy to move and even carry with you.
Available in gray, green, or yellow colors, the new Sofa Made from Air is a major innovation in flexible furniture design.
