Flower Power Hotels

The MVRDV Flowerbed Hotel is Designed to Double as a Greenhouse

The MVRDV Flowerbed Hotel is a conceptual hotel designed to bring guests closer to nature. The hotel is designed for the Netherlands and is meant primarily to house guests visiting the Bloomin’ Holland theme park.

In case you didn’t guess, the Bloomin’ Holland theme park is themed around flowers. The Flowerbed Hotel would be designed like a greenhouse and have 280 guestrooms each designed with a floral theme. Other amenities include a fitness center and spa. A hotel designed to also function as a greenhouse is one of the most original ideas I have ever come across. Here’s hoping that the MVRDV Flowerbed Hotel is built sooner rather than later. A flower-power theme park sounds good, but there is just something about staying in a hotel filled with fresh flowers that gets me.
