Available from fish and chips restaurant L'Alba D'Oro in Edinburgh, the mushy pea fritters are essentially deep fried balls of mashed green peas.
Mushy peas are a well-known side dish in the UK that hasn't really made it over stateside. Instead of coming in a lump, this shop serves the veggie in a way that patrons might feel looks more appetizing.
