Sequined Scaly Structures

Switzerland's Museum de Kulturen Features a Stunning Exterior

The Museum der Kulturen is located in Switzerland and was recently reopened in September after stunning renovations.

The redesign of the Museum der Kulturen was done by architects Herzog & de Meuron and has resulted in a beautiful shimmering effect that looks like a wall constructed out of a million sequins. Exhibiting "ethnographic artefacts and images from around the world," according to deezen.com, the museum's exterior now matches the amazing array of artwork featured inside.

It's too bad the Museum der Kulturen is all the way in Switzerland or I would definitely be stopping by to take a look at its beautiful design.
