The new breakfast sandwiches from Carl's Jr. are served on muffin tops instead of bread. When it comes to breakfast, many people have a tough time deciding between sweet and savory dishes. These new breakfast sandwiches simplify things by combining the two flavors into one delicious dish.
The savory-sweet hybrid sandwiches from Carl's Jr. come in two different varieties: the Cornbread Breakfast Sandwich and the Blueberry Muffin Breakfast Sandwich. The former consists of bacon, eggs, sausage and cheese served on two cornbread muffin tops. The later features the same toppings, but comes with two blueberry muffin tops. Each sandwich is currently being tested at different California locations in order to determine if the hybrid creations will become regular menu items.
Like other fast food restaurants, the new breakfast sandwiches from Carl's Jr. demonstrate an effort to cater to a growing number of consumers eating on the run.
