Described as "the Swiss version of the Acai bowl: beautiful, easy and healthy," the Bircher bowl is especially great for anyone experiencing colder weather (you're welcome, Australians).
To make your own muesli mix, you will need rolled oats, dried fruit, dried coconut, flax seeds, nuts, citrusy zest, seeds and spices. This muesli recipe serves as a template you can customize to better suit your tastes. By adding apple juice or almond milk and refrigerating it overnight, you will have a healthy breakfast prepared for the next morning. You can also add a topping of peaches, chia pudding, sunflower seeds and shredded apple.
