Over time, there have been many modern turntable designs that have been introduced to catch the eyes of music lovers who favor a sleek, minimalist aesthetic, but the technology behind most record players has remained unchanged. 'LOVE' is being introduced to the world as "the first intelligent turntable" to change this pattern.
Rather than having a large rectangular form, LOVE is a small, handheld device that can be fitted on top of a record to commence play. Although LOVE is smartphone-controlled, the device can be used with or without phone connectivity. Through an app, LOVE introduces the ability to skip or repeat tracks, as well as change volume settings and modify RPM speeds.
LOVE is a creation by world-renowned product designer Yves Behar and is currently running as part of a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter.
