Madrid-based architectural studio Lucas y Hernández-Gil overhauls the interior of this establishment in Seville to create a modern industrial restaurant aesthetic. The site, previously a coffee shop, was entirely stripped down. The Spanish firm harnessed the raw power, found in the exposed concrete walls and flooring, and accentuated it with various industrial-style elements — like the "partition wall that is punctured by a large pothole."
In addition to these edgy decisions about the immediate interior, Lucas y Hernández-Gil created a strong and somewhat whimsical contrast with the furniture. Opting in for a warm pastel color palette that boasts nuances of yellow, teal, red and more, the Spanish studio truly modernizes the restaurant's interior.
