This modern cutlery features a sleek and polished design while still adding elements of whimsy to create a fantastically unusual collection.
In a collaboration with French designer Inga Sempé, 'Alessi' released the 'Collo Alto' cutlery set. The line draws inspiration from Sempé's 'IS01' risotto spoon and its design features a thin and light neck with an accentuated circular scoop. This collection fuses elements of the circle and turns it into a balloon-based design with a thin neck and an abundantly round spoon. These pieces feature a decadent design that looks absolutely effortless.
The collection of modern cutlery also features inclusions of several unusual pieces as well. The most notable would be a spork that still features the rounded design with multiple points for utility. There is also a spoon shaped like a shovel that is playfully inspired by the expression of "shoveling down your food."
