Cherry Wooden Cutlery Collections

Jasper Mottison Designs the Jersey Cutlery Capsule for Puiforcat

British designer Jasper Morrison has presented his Jersey cutlery collection for French silverware company Puiforcat. It is a range of cherry wood cutlery coated in a special Japanese lacquering technique. The designer is known for his 'normal' approach to utilitarian design and the new range captures his minimal style.

It is comprised of a table knife, spoon, and fork, along with chopsticks, a chopstick holder, and salad servers. Each product is sleek in terms of its visual design. The brand explains, "An avid devotee of simplicity, precision and functionality, Jasper gives tangible form to his philosophy of 'super-normal' design in this collaboration through the vigorous authenticity of the wood and the fine yet radical lines of each piece."
