Recyclable Mobile Pavilion Designs

BBC Studios Taps Universal Design Studio & Giles Miller Studio

This sizable mobile pavilion is visually striking and incredibly versatile when it comes to its form. The structure is designed by Universal Design Studio and Giles Miller Studio for BBC Studios who wanted to utilize attention-captivating architecture to "physically embody [its] brand" and showcase its content at the MIPCOM trade show in Cannes.

The architectural practices focused on producing a structural design that is both aesthetically striking, as well as sustainably versatile. The end product boasts a steel frame and aluminum louvers. The mobile pavilion can be disassembled and reassembled in a total of six days. When sourcing materials for it, Universal Design Studio and Giles Miller Studio ensured that they upcycled parts.
