Sustainable Militaristic Spring Garments

maharishi's MILTYPE Capsule Readies for the SS21 Season

London-based fashion label maharishi introduces the new MILTYPE collection that is launching to join its Spring/Summer 2021 lineup. The whole capsule is sustainable, with 100% organic cotton making up the seasonal items, grown without any synthetic fertilizers or toxic pesticides.

The name of the collection is also a graphic language often used throughout military garments. This serves as the inspiration behind the capsule, which has been reimagined by the fashion label in its own design language. It can also be seen as a reference throughout the slew of tees and sweats as whats described to be "pacifist military design." The color palette reinforces the concept with drab and olive green, further accented with some lavender and yellow.
