Now live on Kickstarter, the MiiR New Standard Carafe solves some of the problems that happen as a result of using traditional glass pour-over carafes. Quite simply, this new product is described as a "response to the traditional glass carafe. It keeps coffee hot and doesn’t break."

This multi-use coffee carafe combines the features of a heat-retaining storage vessel with a pour-over brewer. Complete with double-wall vacuum insulation, the vessel helps to keep coffee and other hot beverages warm for hours. The mindful design makes the most of 100% post-consumer recycled plastic for the collar and press-fit lid so that no new plastic is involved.
