The Ducati MIG-RR Uses Two Different Wheel Sizes

Created by iconic motorcycle manufacturer Ducati, the MIG-RR is a rugged mountain e-bike built with ambitious adventures in mind. Developed in collaboration with Italy's Thok Ebike, the MIG-RR is technically an offshoot of the popular MIG series by Thok. However, the Ducati offering provides some unique technical solutions, as well as distinct design elements courtesy of the Ducati Design Center.

One of the distinct features of the MIG-RR lies in its differently sized wheels. Sporting a 29-inch front wheel, meant for rolling up and over obstacles, and a faster-accelerating 27.5-inch rear wheel, the bike is intelligently made for pure performance and the most demanding rider. The e-bike features lie in the MIG-RR's 504wh battery and a motor that provides 250 watts of torque. The e-bike is currently not being offered to the US market but European orders are set to begin in January 2019.
